Update: PG&E Crews Make Progress On Jamestown Outage

Update at 3pm:  PG&E estimates the power to be restored for the remaining 60 customers in Jamestown at 6 p.m.

Update at 2:30pm: PG&E crews have been able to restore electricity to all but 60 Jamestown customers in the Mill Villa area. Just after 11 this morning about 1,000 customers lights went out from Jamestown Road to Campo Seco Road. Power was restored to more than two thirds of those customers after going without electricity for three hours. The cause of the outage is under investigation.  No estimated time of repair has been given.

Update at 2pm: PG&E crews have been able to restore electricity to another 200 customers, but nearly 300 re3main in the dark. Nearly 500 PG&E customers remain without power in the areas of Mill Villa, Golf Links Road, Circle Drive and others. The cause of the outage is under investigation.  No estimated time of repair has been reported by PGE for the remaining customers without power.

Update at 1pm:  The lights are back on for some of the 1,000 PG&E customers that have been without power in the Jamestown and a section of Sonora since just after 11 a.m.  The number of customers still in the dark is 482. Areas impacted include Mill Villa, Golf Links Road, Campo Seco Road and others. The cause of the outage is under investigation.  No estimated time of repair has been reported by PGE.

Original Post at 12:30pm: Jamestown, CA — A power outage is impacting just over 1,000 PG&E customers in Tuolumne County.

It is impacting parts of Jamestown and some of the outskirts of Sonora. Areas impacted include Mill Villa, Golf Links Road, Jamestown Road, Wigwam Road, and other areas. The cause of the outage is under investigation. Heavy rain has been falling in the Mother Lode this morning. PGE is unclear as to when the outage will be restored.
