T.U.D. Has Top Candidate For GM
Sonora, CA — The T.U.D. Board of Directors has a top finalist to become the next General Manager.
On Tuesday the Board will vote whether to hire Gilroy City Administrator Thomas Haglund. The district reports that five finalists were interviewed and Haglund emerged as the top candidate. The potential agreement, which would become effective on November 2nd, calls for Haglund to receive an annual salary starting at $179,608.
Dave Andres has been filling in as Interim General Manager for T.U.D. following the retirement of Tom Scesa.
In other business, the T.U.D. Board will discuss water and sewer costs, and policies, to be included in the upcoming rate study. The Board will also talk about setting a future meeting time to discuss its policy on inter-fund transfers. Tuesday’s meeting starts at 2pm in the T.U.D. District Office at 18885 Nugget Blvd.
