Tioga And Don Pedro High School Graduations

Next week will be filled with graduation ceremonies at all four of Tuolumne County’s Public High Schools.

Dave Urquhart, Big Oak Flat-Groveland Unified School District Superintendent, Tioga High and Don Pedro High School Principal, was Thursday’s KVML “Newsmaker of the Day”.

The Big Oak Flat-Groveland Unified School District is made up of Moccasin Community Day School, Teneya Elementary, Tioga High School and Don Pedro High School.

A total of eighteen Tioga High School seniors will graduate on the campus field, Friday June 5th at 7 pm.

The overall student population at Tioga High School is sixty students.

Fifteen students will graduate Don Pedro High School inside of the school gymnasium, on Saturday June 6th at 2 PM.

The overall student population at Don Pedro High School is forty-six students.

Vallecitio, Ted Bird, Cassina, Connections Academy and John Vierra High School will all hold their graduation ceremonies Wednesday night June 3rd in the Sonora High School gymnasium.

Summerville High School will hold their Graduation ceremony Friday night June 5th.

Sonora High School held their graduation ceremony Thursday night June 4th.

Bret Harte High school’s class of 2015 will graduate Friday night June 5th.

Calaveras High School graduation is Thursday June 11th.

The “Newsmaker of the Day” is heard on AM 1450 KVML each weekday morning at 6:45, 7:45 and 8:45am.
