Updated at 6am: Cal Fire reports that investigators are still looking into the cause of last night’s fire at the Union Hill Inn. The fire ignited at around 9:30pm.

CAL Fire Battalion Chief Barry Rudolph says, “Firefighters arrived to find the inn itself fully involved, and the fire was spreading into a small attached structure, as part of that. The inn itself was completely destroyed by fire. At one point we had ten different engines on the fire.”

No one was hurt as a result of the incident. Two engines remain on scene this morning because there are some areas still smoldering. Traffic is moving freely along Parrotts Ferry Road.
