The streets of downtown Sonora will be filled with pedestrians, arts, music and more this Saturday as the annual Sonora Spring Festival returns along Washington Street.
Sheala Wilkenson, Sonora Events Coordinator, was Wednesday’s KVML “Newsmaker of the Day”.
This free event will stretch from the Red Church to the Opera Hall and include several of the side streets in historic downtown Sonora.
From 11 am to 4 pm, residents and visitors alike are invited to check out the various arts, crafts and vendors booths, live music, fashion shows, hair shows, chalk murals, antique fire trucks, business specials, bounce houses, old time games and other family activities.
Featured events will include tours of the Red Church, The Methodist Church, the Fire Museum, a bug zoo, musicians, crafts, vendors and retail store specials.
