Sonora Man Injured In Crash

Sonora, CA — The CHP reports that a man was air-lifted to a hospital in Modesto following a crash on South Fork Road.
41-year-old Ronald N. Richardson was driving a Chevy Avalanche at 7:55pm on Monday, and went off the side of the road, down a steep embankment and into a tree. The vehicle overturned several times, and Richardson was ejected.
The CHP reports that Richardson was intoxicated at the time of the crash, and has been charged with DUI. Â The vehicle was totaled in the crash. No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
