Mother Lode Road Maintenance For The Week Ahead
After the Monday Feb. 16 Presidents Day holiday, Caltrans crews will be back on the Mother Lode highways doing scheduled maintenance work. Here are the details.
On Highway 4 in Calaveras County, Tuesday through Friday, Feb. 17-20, Caltrans maintenance crews will set up two work zones. The first, between Allen Lane and Mitchler Avenue, in Murphys, will be in place from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. The second, between Meko and Beatrice drives, in and north of Arnold, will run 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. with one-way traffic control in place and potential five-minute delays. Additionally, on Thursday, Feb. 19, pavement work between Telegraph and Shirley roads, in Copperopolis, from 8:45 a.m. until 3:15 p.m. will have one-way traffic control in place, causing delays of up to ten minutes.
Also in Calaveras County, on Highway 49, Tuesday through Friday, tree work scheduled at points between Copello Drive, in Angels Camp, and Toyanza Street, in San Andreas from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. will have one-way traffic control in place with potential delays of ten minutes. Also scheduled Tuesday through Friday: shoulder work between Angels and Pool Station roads, in San Andreas, from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. is not expected to cause any motorist delays.
In Tuolumne County, east of Groveland, on Highway 120, scheduled maintenance work Tuesday through Friday will run between the Fire Station, located east of Ferretti Road, to the South Fork Tuolumne River Bridge, with one-way traffic control and potential delays of up to ten minutes.
