San Andreas, CA – Residents can get a view of the long time in coming General Plan for Calaveras County. It is considered a road map for growth in the county and it has been in development for several years.
The plan was released last Thursday and the public has 90 days to view and comment on the draft. The county plans to hold yet to be announced workshops over the next few months for county leaders to answer questions regarding the proposed plan. Calaveras County Planning Director Peter Maurer has stated that the hope is to have a final plan approved sometime in the spring of 2016, but that will not come without several more revisions.
