Chamber Recognizes Community Leaders
Tuolumne, CA — The Tuolumne County Chamber of Commerce held its annual awards banquet last night.
Mike Albrecht of Sierra Resource Management was awarded the prestigious “Citizen of the Year” award. The “Entrepreneur of the Year” is Ridge Schneider of Sonora Subaru, “Small Business of the Year” went to Steve and Cindy Zelinsky of the Lazy Z Resort and Emberz, the “Administrative Professional of the Year” is Chris McCoy of Black Oak Casino, “Excellence in Government” was awarded to County Supervisor Randy Hanvelt, the “non-profit organization” of the year is the Black Hat Foundation, the Teacher of the Year is David Winslow of Sonora High, and students of the year are Tess Houghton, Dylan Marburg and Cassidy Weathers.
The event had close to 200 people, and it was held at the Black Oak Casino Resort. The evening was moderated by Chamber Executive Director Mike Ayala. It was also noted that Amelia Harrison will be the President of the Board of Directors in 2015.
