A Thank You To Vets

Sponsored by:

Yosemite, CA — Yosemite National Park will honor veterans by letting all visitors enter free on Tuesday.

Park officials say entrance fees will be waived to celebrate Veterans Day.  Anyone passing through the park gates will get in free on November 11 in honor of current and former members of the U.S. armed forces.  The free admission is being observed by all public lands managed by the Department of Interior and the Department of Agriculture.  It is a tradition that started in 2006.

One note, it is free to enter the park, but all camping, lodging or activities in the park will still cost you.
