Hwy 4 Crash
Arnold, CA — Emergency crews are on the scene of a solo vehicle crash on Highway 4 near Upper Moran Road in Arnold.
The CHP reports a vehicle has gone off the roadway and down an embankment and a person could be pinned in the vehicle. The westbound lane is blocked so motorists will want to use caution in the area. There is no word on injuries at this time. We will bring you more information as soon as it is available.
Update 2:35 p.m.: The CHP reports no one is pinned inside the vehicle.
Update 2:45 p.m.: The CHP reports the westbound lane is blocked as officers are directing one-way traffic, which is getting backed up.
Update 3 p.m.: The CHP reports A tow crew is pulling the vehicle up from the embankment. Officers continue to direct one-way traffic control on the highway.
Update 3:20 p.m.: The CHP reports officers continue to direct one-way traffic control on the highway and will do so for about another 20 minutes.
Update 3:45 p.m.: The CHP reports the highway has reopened and traffic is moving freely.
