Burglary Suspect Guilty
San Andreas, CA — A woman who hid stolen loot at Rosalinda’s Gentlemen’s Club outside of Jamestown has been found guilty of burglary.
In a Calaveras County courtroom on Friday, 42-year-old Marlinda Russo of Jamestown was found guilty of two felonies, second degree burglary and receiving stolen property.
Deputy District Attorney Seth Matthews says, “The jury viewed some video evidence of Russo helping a co-defendant to steal items and drive away from the Lake Tulloch Resort.”
The D.A. Office reports Russo worked at the club and was arrested there in April of 2012 for the resort burglary.
At the end of the two and a half day trial, the Court ordered the Probation Department to prepare a report and recommend a sentence. Russo is out on her own recognizance with certain conditions, which include a search waiver for stolen property. Russo’s sentencing is set for August 11.
The D.A. reports Christopher Jorge a co-defendant in the case pled guilty to second-degree burglary. In March of 2013, he was sentenced to 196 days in jail and probation.
