Sonora, CA — Get your baskets ready, the Sonora Farmers Market opens Saturday. The booths will be ready for business starting at 7:30 am and open until 11:30 am. This year there will be some new booths to tempt your taste buds along with other unique items to buy.
Market Supervisor Erin O’Hare says, “We’ll have some new craft vendors, some new artisan vendors and some new food vendors. This year we have an Indian flute player and then we have the blue grass, violinist, and some fiddle players.”
The market will run each Saturday through October 18. It is located at Theall and Stewart Streets in downtown Sonora. For a list of annual events in the Mother Lode visit the annual events page.
