Council To Hear Update On Mono Way

Sonora, CA — The Sonora City Council will hear the latest happenings related to the planned Mono Way widening project.
As reported last week, the bids for the project are well over budget, and city and county leaders have been talking about how to proceed forward. The plan is to widen Mono Way from Greenley Road to Fir Drive, with construction anticipated to start this Spring.
The Council will also hear an update on the status of the Senior Lounge. The city owned lounge has been closed for several weeks because of problems with some of the patrons.
In addition, the Council will discuss and vote on potential mid-year budget adjustments. Monday’s meeting starts at 5pm at Sonora City Hall.
