Jamestown, CA — The CHP has identified the Angels Camp woman killed in a three-vehicle crash in Tuolumne County.

The wreck happened Thursday just before 9 p.m. on Rawhide Road east of French Flat Road near Jamestown. The CHP reports 44-year-old Dawn Hartwig succumbed to her injuries from the accident on the way to Sonora Regional Medical Center (SRMC).

Hartwig was a passenger in a 1981 BMW driven by 60-year-old Elizabeth Quinn of Angels Camp. The CHP reports Quinn was traveling northbound on Rawhide Road when for unknown reasons the car crossed the double-yellow lines and smashed head-on into a 1998 Dodge truck driven by 60-year-old Neil Lemmon of Salt Lake City, Utah. Another 1998 Dodge pickup, driven by 59-year-old David Straub of Jamestown, slammed into the rear end of Lemmon’s truck.

Quinn suffered head injuries and was taken to SRMC. Lemmon had minor injuries including a cut to his thumb. Straub had no injuries.
