Sonora, CA — Tonight the Sonora City Council will hold a hearing to solicit the public’s views on the Community Development Block Grant Program Income Reuse Plan.
Program Income is the gross amount of money received by the city through a CDBG grant or loan fund. In the past, money has helped the Police Department’s waterproofing project and the Housing Rehabilitation Loan Program.
The Council will also vote whether to accept $2,500 from the Walmart Foundation to purchase exercise equipment for the Sonora Fire Department. In addition, the Council will discuss updates to the City’s Emergency Operations Plan. Tonight’s meeting starts at 5pm at City Hall.
