County Thanks Eller

Sonora, CA — Sonora Regional Medical Center President and CEO Jeff Eller was recognized by the Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors today.

Eller received a certificate of recognition for his 5 1/2 years of service.

“From my observations, Sonora Regional has never been more purpose driven, mission oriented, and targeted in what they do,” said Craig Pedro, County Administrator. “This man has done a fabulous job.”

Pedro praised Eller’s leadership during the transition period where many services offered by Tuolumne General Hospital transferred over to SRMC.

As reported previously, Eller will become the President of Adventist Health’s Northern California Network (NCN), which encompasses four acute care hospitals and a behavioral health hospital.

The Board of Supervisors noted they are sorry to see Eller leave, but are also happy that he has received a promotion. Eller thanked the Board for the recognition, on behalf of SRMC. “It definitely is with mixed emotions that I will take on a different role with Adventist Health,” he said. “I will always look back at these years in Sonora and Tuolumne County with great fondness.”

Under Eller’s direction the medical center has expanded services in Tuolumne and Calaveras Counties by opening 10 additional network clinics, with 22 new physicians, and three mid-level providers.

Eller’s last day at SRMC is scheduled to be February 3.
