Traffic Stop Ended In Drug Arrest
Sonora, CA — A search of a Sonora man and his car netted methamphetamine.
The incident happened yesterday just before 6 p.m. on Solinsky Street in Sonora. A Sonora Police Department Officer stopped a 2009 Cadillac sedan for a light being out on the car. A driver’s license check revealed 59-year-old William Todd’s license was suspended.
Chief Mark Stinson says, “A search of Todd’s person and vehicle revealed around 2 grams of methamphetamine. Todd was taken into custody without incident.”
Todd was booked into the Tuolumne County Jail. He faces felony drug charges.
