More Bypass Construction

Sponsored by:

Tuolumne County, CA — The highway 108 Bypass was opened on Friday, but some motorists will still face traffic delays as construction is still going on in the area.

Flaggers will be doing one-way traffic control on Highway108 from Standard Road/Mono Way to Draper Mine Road. Crews will be working on construction along that stretch of roadway starting Monday, November 4th through Friday, November 8th from 7:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. The only time crews will not be working is the three hour stretch after 4 p.m.

Motorists can expect delays of up to 15 minutes. Caltrans offers alternative routes like Tuolumne, Soulsbyville and Phoenix Lake Roads.

The construction is part of the $54 million Highway 108 East Sonora Bypass Stage II Project that began on April 19, 2012.
