On Saturday Murphys will feature Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, celebration in Murphys. The event is held on Main Street from 11am to 6pm. It features a costume contest, traditional foods and wine and a procession to St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Details are here.
The Mother Lode Makers Meetup is Saturday eventing starting at 5pm off Jackson Street in Sonora. The informative evening will feature news on the local hacker/makerspace/craft area for anyone who likes to make things. There will be speakers, demonstrations, and hands-on activities from the Make world to the Tech world on various topics.
