Columbia, CA — Motorists will experience delays if traveling on Highway 49 in Tuolumne County. CVIN broadband contractors will be working on Highway 49 between Parrotts Ferry Road and Shaws Flat Road. There could be delays of up to 10 minutes in that area.
The work is part of the Central Valley Independent Next (CVIN) Broadband infrastructure installation. The 18-county CVIN project was funded by the federal stimulus package in 2009. It is designed to increase the broadband infrastructure of the region.
