Employee Arrested For Robbery
San Andreas, CA — Calaveras County Sheriffs Deputies became involved in argument with an employee reportedly stealing money. According to Calaveras County Sheriffs Deputies the recent incident involved Nate’s Pub in San Andreas and an employee saying she was owed the money.
The pub’s owner told a deputy that he and an employee of his, 36 year-old Rayshell Berg, of San Andreas, had been arguing. Berg told the owner she was owed over $400. The owner said that she threatened him, went to the cash register and removed $180. The owner told her he was calling 911 but Berg disconnected the phone line. She reportedly kicked the cordless phone base across the room and left with the money. The owner told the deputy that he feared for his safety.
Berg returned to the Pub before the deputy left, and confirmed that she took the money. She said that she left a written receipt and she believed the money was owed to her. The money and a written receipt were recovered. Berg was arrested and booked into the Calaveras County Jail on the charges of robbery and damage to a phone line. There were no weapons or injuries involved.
