Two Dead In Jamestown Accident

A 20 year old Sonora man is charged with drunk driving and manslaughter after a single vehicle accident that killed two people just before 1:00 this morning.
Investigators say Richard Ellinburg the second was headed North on Jamestown Road, when his car slammed into a utility pole. 19 year old Christopher Caperetta and 17 year old Kristina Bowerman, both of Sonora, were pronounced dead.
17 year old Sonoran Jessica Bibby is at Sonora Community Hospital with major injuries, and 17 year old Rick Sherfield of Jamestown was treated for minor injuries. Ellinberg is at Tuolumne General hospital with moderate injuries.
