One of California´s most notorious serial killers has been denied parole for the ninth time.
Herbert Mullin appeared today before a parole board at Mule Creek State Prison southeast of Sacramento. A prison spokesman says he´ll have to wait four years to try again.
Mullin said he was driven to kill by telepathic messages from his father. He said he thought the murders would prevent a powerful earthquake from hitting the state.
