Serial Killer Get Ninth Parole Hearing Thursday

A serial killer denied parole on eight previous occasions, has another state parole hearing tomorrow at Mule Creek State Prison near Sacramento.
Herbert Mullin was convicted of 11 murders and was a suspect in two other slayings in Santa Cruz and Santa Clara counties late in 1972 and early in 1973. There was no California death penalty at the time and Mullin is serving a life sentence.
