Holman Foundry Theatre To Go Dark

Citing financial difficulties, officials of the Mountain Actors Conservatory have announced the Sonora repertory company is ending operations at the close of this season.
Executive Director David Purdy and Artistic Director Ellen Stewart say the company has struggled with inadequate funding during its four years at the former Holman Foundry, in spite of strong support from patrons and sponsors.
The company will present a program of old-time radio Christmas plays this weekend, and conclude operations with a fund raiser variety show January 12th.
