A San Diego-based Marine is in stable condition after an apparently accidental shooting.
A military spokesman says the 21-year-old was shot in the chest by a fellow Marine early this morning in the barracks of Air Station Miramar.
Marine Corps spokesman TV Johnson says the gun was a 9
millimeter that was not government issued and shouldn´t have
been in the barracks.
The Marine who fired the weapon was taken into custody and could face military charges.
