Most Of Mobile Home Saved

Firefighters managed to save most of a mobile home Saturday evening, after an alert neighbor reported a fire on Seaborn Road in East Sonora.
Crews were called to the neighborhood off highway 108 just after 5 p.m., to find the kitchen area in flames. Fire damage was limited to that area, and estimated at about 35 thousand dollars. A motor home and car parked nearby were saved. The cause was a faulty lamp in the home.
