Sponsored by:

A woman whose husband died aboard a hijacked airliner arrived in San Francisco this morning, finishing the trip her husband had planned.

Lisa Beamer says it´s her way of facing the future.

She flew on United´s newly renumbered Flight 81 to meet the business associates her husband, Todd, was on his way to visit when he took the doomed flight from Newark, New Jersey.

Beamer says she completed he husband´s journey as a way of fighting public fear and showing that it´s safe to travel again.

Todd Beamer was one of several passengers aboard United Flight 93 who tried calling relatives to tell them they were being hijacked and were planning to fight back.

He´s survived by two young sons, and Lisa Beamer is expecting another child in January.
