Rapist Gets Life Sentence

A man convicted of raping a Visalia bus driver was sentenced to life in prison yesterday. Jerry William
Knight took control of the bus and forced the 33-year-old woman to drive to an orchard where he raped her and then ordered her to drive to Goshen. Knight
pleaded innocent by reason of insanity. Prison officials may transfer him to a mental hospital.
