Sponsored by:

Officials now say that the Creek Fire near Groveland is fully contained. The fire was re-mapped this
morning, and the official size has been determined at 11 thousand 183 acres.

Eleven homes have been lost to the fire, according to Tuolumne County
Fire/CDF spokeperson Kary Hubbard, who assisted with the count this week. Red Cross officials will meet Tuesday and Wednesday at the Groveland Library
to help displaced people with the paperwork for assistance.

Three more injuries to firefighters are reported, none of them serious. Twenty local
government strike teams and several bulldozers have been released from the fire, along with all air tankers.

All roads to the evacuated areas are open to
residents only. Fire crews will be in the area cutting down trees and other hazards today. Residents are asked to stay clear of the operations.

A
community meeting to discuss the Creek Fire will be held at 10 O´clock tomorrow morning in the Groveland Community Hall on Highway 120.
