Mendocino Fire Still Raging

A wildfire in the Mendocino National Forest has claimed 11-thousand-350 acres since it began
Wednesday.
A total of 11 homes, mostly summer cabins, and seven outbuildings have been destroyed. Two firefighters have been treated for heat
exhaustion. There have been no additional injuries.
The fire is currently 51 percent contained. Fire officials had estimated full containment by Thursday,
but are now backing away from that prediction.
More than one-thousand-400 firefighters are battling the blaze near Stonyford in Colusa County.
Several people have been evacuated from their cabins.
