Mayor’s Mother Dies

95 year old Catherine Bass, a Sonora resident since 1972, and mother of Mayor Liz Bass died at Sonora
Community Hospital Sunday.
Besides the mayor, she leaves a son, Robert Bass of Thailand, a daughter, Rosemary Reed of Santa Cruz, and three
grand children. There will be no services. Burial will be in St. Patricks Catholic Cemetery.
