The Sonora Union High School District will be addressing the 24/7 issue at the Board of Trustees meeting
Tuesday night. 24/7 is a standard that places rules upon student athletes and club members to not drink alcohol or smoke 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, or
risk eligiblity in participating in the activity.
Students must also hold a “C” average to stay in extra-curricular activities. One of the issues within the issue
is whether a “no F-mark” rule should apply to the standard. A decision on 24/7 is expected later this month.
