County Hazardous Waste Collection

The Solid Waste Local Task Force and Solid Waste Committee will be holding a meeting at the Tuolumne
County Supervisor´s Chambers on August 9th. On the agenda will be consideration of a Special Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event to be held at
the Tuolumne Rancheira later this year.
Mark Rappaport, Senior Solid Waste Technician would like to see the event take place so local residents can
correctly dispose of materials such as used motor oil and household chemicals.
One of the questions at the meeting will be whether the county or the
Rancheria will pick up the tab for the event.
