There may be changes coming soon to Yosemite National Park. In response to the increased traffic at the
park, the National Park serivce has proposed the Yosemite Valley plan, designed to address the recent deterioration of the park caused by the heavy
congestion of tourists and the vehicles that bring them there.
One of the new proposals in the plan is to move the restrooms from its current location at
the west end of the parking area to the eastern side of Yosemite Creek. The planned move has raised concerns of the local American Indian Community. They
would like to see them go elsewhere.
