P G and E to Pay Penalties

Tuolumne and Calaveras are among the counties set to get penalty payments from P G and E. The utility
delayed payment of some property taxes when it filed for bankruptcy, and had asked a court to let it pay only those counties that waived late payment
penalties.
The judge turned down the motion, and P G and E has now agreed to pay up. In all, 25 counties were involved.
