Grenade Found in Sonora Garage

Some tense moments at a Campbell´s flat home in Sonora yesterday. A resident in the 18 thousand block of
Corte Del Montana found an old World War Two hand grenade in her garage.
Tuolumne County deputies ended up calling in bomb squads from
Calaveras and Stanislaus counties after it was found the device was leaking powder through the threads. Stanislaus County crews eventually took it to a rock
quarry and set it off.
