Carjacking, Meth Charges in Calaveras and Amador Counties
Deputies in Calaveras and Amador Counties have four people jailed, after a weekend carjacking
investigation turned up a methamphetimine lab in West Point.
Deputies say a Toyota Forerunner was taken from its owner at gunpoint in Pioneer, and
later spotted at a West Point residence. Officers serving search warrants turned up the drug making equipment and a variety of packaging and processing
33 year old Gilbert Beecher, 27 year old Robin Bethel, 32 year old Timothy Alec and 21 year old Mandy Alec are in the Calaveras County
jail. They´ll face charges in both counties.
