Arnold Man Arraigned For East Sonora Bank Robberies
An Arnold man has been arraigned on three charges of strong arm bank robbery to two Motherlode banks
over the last two weeks.
Tuolumne County prosecutor Mike Knowles says 43 year old Paul Michael Challoner is charged with two robberies last
week to the World Savings Bank at the Junction Shopping Center and a robbery last month at Central California Bank on Mono Way.
Challoner will
be back in court May 21st for a preliminary hearing. Challoner´s accomplice in Friday´s robbery, 32 year old Darren Dolbeare, was released. It isn´t known if
he´ll be charged later. Both men were arrested by sheriff´s deputies following Friday´s robbery at World Savings Bank.
