Sponsored by:
Firefighters hope to fully contain Northern California´s first major wildfire of the season
by
tomorrow night and control it by Monday. The fire is presently 75 percent contained.
The fire is burning in a swath of steep forest along a
river in the Klamath National Forest about 15 miles south of the Oregon border. Strong winds and warm temperatures continue to hamper efforts to control the
15 hundred acre blaze.
