Pricey Tire Cleanup Underway

Cleaning up two massive Central Valley tire fires one in Westley and the other in Tracy will cost almost 20
(m) million dollars. Cleaning up the sites will take several years.
The money is coming from an increased state tire tax, up from 25 cents to one dollar
per tire.
