High School Students Embark On Yosemite Park Project
Eleven high school students from inner city Detroit, Michigan and rural Atwater are experiencing the
wilderness as part of a six day project in Yosemite Park called “WILDLINK.”
Spokesperson Joanna Lombard says this project is for students whose
backgrounds don´t allow them to experience the wilderness. They participate in experiments in the wilderness, learn about its history and more.
