Fires Under Investigation

A couple of fires are under investigation in the Mother Lode. Crews needed about 20 minutes to put out a
fire in some discarded tires shortly after 2:30 Friday afternoon. They found the tires engulfed in flames when they arrived at the shooting range on Parrotts Ferry
Road.
Later, crews took a half hour to quell a quarter acre grass fire along Peppermint Circle. No injuries in either fire.
