3 Year Old Hero in Jamestown

Firefighters credit a 3 year old boy with preventing a major fire last evening in Jamestown.
Crews
responded to the Oak Hills Apartments on Preston Lane to find a kitchen fire already out.
The boy had alerted his mother to smoke in the kitchen, and
she was able to move a cooking utensil that had ignited. A sprinkler system put the fire out.
Damage, mainly from water, is estimated at about 5
thousand dollars.
