Search Continues In Modesto
The search for an eight-months-pregnant Modesto woman who disappeared Christmas Eve has returned to the park where she was last seen.
FBI agents want to know if homeless people in the Modesto park can add anything to the sighting of Laci Peterson walking her dog that morning. Police Chief Roy Wasden told ABC´s “Good Morning America” that the park already has been searched three times.
Authorities have sealed off the Peterson home and seized vehicles owned by the missing woman and her husband. Scott Peterson reported his wife missing Tuesday evening when he returned home from a San Francisco Bay area fishing trip. That was eight hours after his wife had been seen in the park.
The dog, a golden retriever, had been found earlier by a neighbor and was returned, still wearing its leash.
