Armed Robbery At Modesto Bank

Three aggressive bank robbers handcuffed and threatened employees and customers of Union Safe Deposit Bank in northeast Modesto yesterday.
Modesto police say the robbers, all black men in their 20´s, carried semi-automatic handguns. They entered the bank next to Costco, yelled and threatened to kill anyone who didn’t cooperate. One of the men jumped on the counter and handcuffed employees.
The trio escaped ten minutes later with bags of money. They escaped in a white Chevy Caprice, but officers later found that car. The car had been stolen from Modesto Junior College earlier in the day.
New digital surveillance cameras captured the robbery inside the bank. Authorities say the suspects are considered armed and dangerous.
