Black Ice Causes Crash

A car hit a sheet of black ice on a curved stretch of Highway 108 near Strawberry Wednesday afternoon. The sedan careened off the roadway, ending up nearly 100 feet down the embankment.
The single car crash between Pinecrest and Strawberry occurred around 2 p.m. this afternoon. The occupant was pinned in the vehicle for a time with minor injuries. She refused medical treatment at the scene and was driven to her home by fire personnel.
