The California Highway Patrol has released the name of the man killed Tuesday afternoon when his pick-up truck drifted off the roadway on Highway 120 near the Lake Don Pedro Vista Point, between the towns of Chinese Camp and Jacksonville.
CHP spokesman Tom Wills says 60 year-old Groveland resident Terry Moss Jr. was headed eastbound on 120 when his 2002 Chevy pickup for unknown reasons went off the road, down an embankment, through a fence and hitting an oak tree.
Moss was pronounced dead at the scene of chest trauma. The accident is still under investigation.
