Man Found Dead In Car

Calaveras County Sheriff investigators say they found the body of a 50 year-old Paradise man in a Volkswagen parked on a forest road near Dorrington.
A deputy found Darrell Marcotte inside the car north of Highway 4 and Meko Drive. A barbecue containing burned charcoal briquettes was found on the floor of the car. Doors and windows of the Volkswagen were closed.
No information on cause of death has been released as of this morning. The body was found Thursday morning. Sheriff authorities released the information Sunday.
